The Spirit and the bride say, Come!

I had been wanting to do a 'Bride' picture for a long time but I didn't quite have it in my minds eye what I was looking to accomplish. I saw a picture the other day and it sparked something. So here it is. Someone asked where the head was or why it was cut off. The response given was if you were looking for the whole body you were missing the point of the picture.

It is interesting. The cutting off of the head makes you wonder at why that would be. I must makes some kind of statement, But I can't figure it out other than once a bride, you are either 2 as 1 or 1/2 of you. I would rather see the placement of the body off-center, not smack dab in the middle. Robert Bateman, a famous painter currently, call fictures like this "fried eggs"

Dear Anonymous,
It is funny that you bring up the center thing. All the while doing the picture I kept wanting to move it over, off center but for some reason it stayed put.
The head cut off is because I didn't want folks to concentrate on what the bride looked like but that there was A bride. Even as the bride of Christ is also the body of Christ. Hope this clarifies a bit. Thanks.
